Rev Ricky Law

Ricky joined MCBC as a Youth Pastor in 2006 and became our Lead Pastor for the Chinese ministry in 2009. In 2015, he was appointed acting Senior Pastor. He serves in many different ministries such as church leadership, pastoral care, cell group ministries, preaching, care for the community and mission mobilisation. He was ordained by the Baptist Union of Victoria in 2013.

Ricky has a Masters Degree in Divinity from Bible College of Victoria and is passionate in areas of Christian spirituality, biblical counselling and experiential group work.

He is married to Kit and both are passionate in walking with people and seeking to know God together.

Pastor Richard Chiu

Pastor Richard grew up in Sydney with his Chinese family, after immigrating to Australia from South Korea. He worked in IT before completing his Master of Divinity at Sydney Missionary and Bible College.

Richard has joined us at MCBC in 2020, after serving as a pastor in Sydney for 6.5 years. He loves to see God's word being read, understood and lived, and he hopes to encourage as many as possible to consider the truths of Jesus, especially those in our CrossGen service.

He loves to interact with people, so please feel free to get in touch with him. He'd love to have a chat with you over coffee, and for you to meet his cats, Orange and Grey.

Pastor Alex Li

Pastor Alex Li was an atheist who grew up in China. In 1992, his whole family immigrated to Melbourne. In 1997, he was chosen by God to become a Christian. In 2011, he was called to be equipped at Melbourne School of Theology. In February 2016, he was appointed as a preacher by Melbourne Chinese Baptist Church, responsible for the pastoral teaching and care for the Mandarin ministry. 
Pastor Li is a cheerful and helpful person with rich social and life experience. He is willing to provide guidance for some new immigrants in various aspects and is more willing to share the Gospel with them. He serves with his wife, hence more new immigrant families may be benefited from the Gospel.
